Fluvanna Habitat Needs Your Help!!

In November, Fluvanna Habitat sent out an annual appeal letter to county residents.  We are now learning that many people did not receive their letter.  Without your help, Habitat cannot continue to build good, quality affordable housing in the county.  If you did not receive your letter in November, please take a moment to read it now.  The letter details exactly where your donations go, and how anything you give is returned directly into the community.  Any donations can be mailed to Fluvanna County Habitat for Humanity, P.O. Box 276, Palmyra, VA 22963.  Click here to read and/or print a copy of the letter.  Thank you to everybody for your support!

Bad Economy is Being Felt by Fluvanna Habitat

Fluvanna Habitat for Humanity’s annual mail campaign is falling well below expectations from last year.  In early November Habitat volunteers stuffed over 8,500 envelopes to send to Fluvanna County homeowners asking them to contribute to the annual drive to raise money for decent affordable housing for our less fortunate Fluvanna neighbors. According to President Gladys Albright, to date $9,500 has been raised compared to $12,800 last year at this time.  To read the full article, click here.
To donate to Habitat, please send checks to Fluvanna Habitat, P.O. Box 276, Palmyra, VA  22963.
